BronyCon is just moments away and they are going to have a live stream up for all of us non-attendees to watch, also, Nightmare Nights in Dallas is announcing it's vendors and artist alley.
Saddle Up for BronyCon @ Home
Are you unable to make it to BronyCon or worried about missing a panel? Don’t miss a thing with BronyCon @ Home!
With the assistance of Everfree Network, BronyCon will be live streaming its Aug. 2-4
event in Baltimore, Md. This isn’t just a typical live stream though.
There will be a total of three concurrent streams showcased on the BronyCon website.
All
panels that are in the Mane Event Hall, Hall of the Sun and Hall of the
Moon will be live streamed. This includes guest panels, premiers and
BronyPalooza—BronyCon’s concert with twelve hours of music and 34
musical acts. Furthermore, all streaming will be recorded and posted
after the convention. So don’t worry about two panels you want to see
conflicting; you can always catch it later!
To watch BronyCon’s events online, go to our website during
the scheduled days of the convention. Also, BronyCon wants to know if
you are making any special plans or parties around BronyCon @ Home to
enjoy with your local brony friends or meet up groups! Tweet all
discussion of the streams, plans or pictures of your BronyCon @ Home
setup to @BronyCon with the hashtag #BCAtHome!

Nightmare Nights Announces Foalpapers
Nightmare Nights, held in Dallas from November 8th through the 10th,
is proud to announce a Community Guest! If you’re one of the pony folk
active on Twitter, chances are you’ve heard of him: The British gent
with the classicist bent, Foalpapers! Foaly will be presenting an
abstract of his graduate thesis, which deals with Classical themes in My
Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. If you’re embarrassed to tell your
family and friends that you’re heading to a Pony Con for the weekend,
you can always tell them you’re going to attend a symposium on Classical
images and references in modern media!
Nightmare Nights Expands Vendor Space & Opens an Artist Alley
We’re
very grateful so many talented artists of all stripes are so looking
forward to selling their work to our attendees (and our guests, and each
other). However, we were a bit taken aback when our Vendor Room sold
out five months before the con. Still, everything’s bigger in Texas, so
we just moved it to a larger room! That’s right: we now have an
additional supply of vendor tables available for purchase, first-come,
first-served. In addition, we’re announcing the opening of our Artist
Alley! So, what’s the difference between the Vendor Room and the Artist
Alley? We’re glad you asked! The Artist Alley is less expensive, allows
tables to be rented by the day, and is open 24 hours a day. The catch is
that you cannot erect displays or backdrops behind your table, and you must
accept and work on commissions during the convention. Essentially, this
gives artists space to work on their commissions until the wee hours,
if they so choose. It also helps prevent the Vendor Room from becoming
congested as attendees describe the precise color shading of their OCs.
So
join us this November in Addison, Texas with the rest of our guests;
Andrea Libman, Peter New, Brenda Crichlow, Sabrina Alberghetti, Jim
Miller, James Wootton, Mitch Larson, Pixelkitties, and Sophie Cabra for a
fantastic all-ages fan event! Check us out at www.NightmareNights.Net
