SITREP: #041: Acquisitions

We here at R&D Department at FOB Equestria have been working very hard to use lots of your budget to develop high technology solutions to your pony problems.  Soldiers downrange have been asking us for a long time now if we could 'cute-proof' their sunglasses, so that we wouldn't lose so many of our boys to heart-attacks. This is a little sample of what we've got so far.

So you will you finally get your *squee* sonic grenades or your M72 D'AW Launcher?  Find out after the break.

Ok, how many of you have used MATLAB or Wolfram Alpha?  Both incredibly frustrating, but somepony went and found the time to create several 'pony-like curves' using a parametric graphing technique, several hundred sinusoids and a few step-functions.

Source
(Looks like the Rarity-function needed more time to make...fabulous!)

Any of the above source links will take you to a specific page with the functions used.  Have fun trying to read through it all, I didn't count the terms, but the equation to make each of these was several pages long.  Follow this link to see a list of all of the parametric ponies!

Now, we've also got something for all you pony-music guzzling bronies out there:

That's a spectrum analyzer, it takes select frequencies and represents them according to their magnitude on the light-up display.  You've probably seen them before, but I bet you havn't seen one with Vinyl Scratch etched onto a circuit board.

Ok, so it looks like we're still figuring out our software and the hardware, but rest assured we'll have those weapons ready by the time the war is over.
